Don't think orange will suit it. In the metal, the Monaco's got a slight purpley hue so making it really hard for me to think of a good colour match :(
I don't think I've ever sat in the car and put my seatbelt on before setting off. I always put it on as I'm driving up my road or heading towards the exit of a car park. *awaits grilling now*
There was a thread not too long ago, think it mentioned what plug/wire to disconnect. I got a bit...
Not sure on the turinis yet, too many ££££. I'm sure I will get a set one day, got lowering and cup spoiler on the shopping list first.
But if I did, think I would keep the silver.
Cheers mate!
Yeah, after I cleaned it they looked damn good. And with silver, after a couple of weeks they kinda look anthracite so almost like having two sets of wheels lol
what colour though?
I think athracite is a bit overdone, would rather keep them silver. Would love a wild colour though. If it wasn't for the way the Monaco paint looks in the metal, I think I'd be regretting I hadn't bought a black 172 to have bright colour wheels on it.
Thanks mate. Got out in the cold and...
I love the orange or lime green on black 172s but what would you put on a Monaco?
Feel free to photoshop, if ya really want to ;)
ps. will be lowered soon!
Is Chris ukaskew?
Only guaranteed motorsport pics are Silverstone as the cars are massively different looking, and I wish I had taken more pics everytime I go. Going up on friday just for pics. Will be trying to make some trackdays as a spectator just to get pics as well. And then photo...
Do you mean FZ28: Do it?
I am serously tempted, its the closest thing to SLR but with no inconvenience I have found. I would love the extra quality of the DSLR but I probably wouldn't be able to extract it or a while. Forgotten so much of the stuff I used to know, that I'm pretty much a novice...
Cheers guys.
I'm going to weigh up the pros and cons, still a bit put off by weight and size of slr and lens atm, and can get the Pana Lumix DMC-FZ28 with a 2 year warranty for under £220 (warranty is important to me as have had a lot of bad luck with things goin wrong over the years). But...
Thanks guys, now I'm even more confused.
I like the bridge camera as for now and the next few years, it'll be all in one cost for me to learn on and I can get an SLR in a few years and be able to buy good kit once I'm earning properly.
But I'd love it to be SLR quality but unless I can get...
Rather not have to sell anything on afterwards but good prices.
Am definitely going to look into more info on the Canon 300D and Nikon D40 though and see if any second hand bargains before making a choice between SLR and Bridge.
Thanks andy.
At this point in my life I'm not totally serious about photography, ease of use is a must as I learn to use all the adjustments. Part of the reason I got my Canon A80 a few years ago was the fact it had a full manual mode, which I have had some fun with. So would like a good auto...
Never knew you could hire lenses! Thanks Andy.
I'm just a bit sceptical about buying electronics second hand (esp from ebay) incase a function or more may not work. Are there any good camera forums so I can search their classifieds as well?
Would the Panasonic not be good for motorsport...
23 for me, purely for the fact that the positioning is awesome for what I'm guessing was a very very short time to do so. Also, it looks the hardest to replicate or achieve similarly I would have thought.
#2, #3 and #6 are great too, would love to have a large version of #2 on my bedroom wall.
I’ve had a small interest in photography for many years but never really made anything more it. My budget is far too small for a DSLR so this is the closest I can get and at just over £200, it’s a good price for me.
Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28.

Colour looks awesome in those pics, would love to have my 172 in that colour with those wheels.
As a rep, which it sounds like you're intending to do, it should look even better, front bumper and splitter let it down IMO. If you're going to keep the splitter, it'd look better if it was a...
THANK YOU! I was sure it was cutting in without it flashing!
I've never had TC let alone ESP before, and find it very odd to have the power cut.
Plus I love the need to adjust the throttle when you feel the front starting to slip. Always turn it off when I'm having a play.
After a certain number of months they let you change to lower tariffs. When that time comes you can switch to the lowest tariff and then pay that much multiplied by the number of months remaining to buy it out.
An alternative is sometimes CPW or Phones4u will actually buy you out of the...
Its running fine on mine, the first time I turn my laptop on each day.
Would prefer something that uses a bit less memory but AVG seems to be running better itself since reformatting the other day.
Never put any of my cars in the car wash, heard horror stories from mates about wheel dirt and grit being brushed all along the sides.
I have let the carpark cleaners at M&S wash it before though so prob just as bad :o Was only my 1.4, rather see my 172 dirty than let them wash it.
LOL mate, what a question!
I have no idea but it might look VERY odd though if you ever get pulled over and the officer asks all passengers to get out and you've got people in the back.
Flux were always a lot higher for me on my 1.4, will give them a try in April for the 172.
Privilege are sounding good, will have to give them a try.
Similar to me, elephant online quote was £140 than elephant renewal! I told them I want the online price and they didn't argue one bit, was...
