Worst: Some old £20 samsung about 5yrs ago.
Best: SE W850i or W810i. No nonsense, no fuss, and the W810i was unbreakable.
Hopefully getting a Nokia 5800 so hope that tops the "best".
They can't relock it. I think its illegal to be unlocked via soldering, that's how the little shops/stalls do it. Some may use software now. But normally can be unlocked for a fee to the original operator company, around £15-20.
Some wont unlock until a certain date, unsure why, may just be...
My Pass Plus instructor told me you use a 1/3 more fuel driving at 70 than 60. Or a 1/3 less driving at 60 than 70. It was one of them.
No idea if it was true or not, but think he was hinting at me to slow down lol
And to the OP. I find I can get more miles on the second half of a tank than...
Your car has an update every week mate!
Love the turbines! Prefer them to the porsche rims but a diff colour might look better, maybe polished or very light grey, not as dark as anthracite.
They look bigger than the porsches as well.
I can't rate the CPW customer services any more. Always helpful (apart from one monkey who tried telling me the SE X1 wasn't touch screen) and offer me good deals to keep me staying with them.
If girls asks what I drive I say "clio 172" normally, then they ask "172?" I reply "the quick one....like the golf gti". It gets a nod and "oh right" and the conversation continues.
As said, not really but depends how you drive.
For the 1st 2.5yrs of having a 1.4 8v, I never topped 33mpg but I used to rev the nuts out of it. Somehow managed 40+ when travelling in fast pace last rush our traffic last summer.
In my 172, I avarage around 33mpg and that is a good mix of...
Random bumpage loll
Yeah mate, I was following it and to anyone who knows about fast cars, its an easy spot its a CSL! Just couldn't make out the badge till I got close up.
I'd love to see the spanners that get their arses handed to them when they think its a rep.
Over a year when we had the hose pipe ban for my last clio.
The Monaco was washed yesterday for the first time since getting it, great feeling to see it all shiny.

I'd hate having black bars on the side of normal 16:9 resolutions. I already get so pissed of watching 4:3 on widescreen.
Strangely, I don't mind black bars at top and bottom.
Can't wait for these to come out!
Tell them to bugger off!
That's ridiculous!
They should offer a refund if more than 2 months insurance remaining, and then deduct a cancellation fee from that. Usually between £25-50 for cancellation I think. It should say in the policy handbook.
You'll be alright then as long as the wheel fits.
195/45/16 = 58.19cm diameter
205/40/17 = 59.58cm diameter
Less than 1.5cm difference compared to a 172 wheel so I'd assume it'd be all fine. There are a few ridges in the bottom sides of the wheel well I think but doubt they'd cause trouble.
Ony thing I'd say is it may not let the boot floor sit flat.
It took me a whoile to figure out that my boot floor wasn't flat because my 172 wheel width was more than the depth of the wheel well.
Even cheaper if he only needs front springs. Around £50-60 new
http://www.europerformance.co.uk/pages/products/search_car/product_sub.mhtml?car=renaultclio;category=loweringsprings
so 2nd hand must be quite cheap.
That's the first 197 that's really made me think WOW. The colour is great. And why didn't all 197s leave the factory that low, looks spot on.
Great pics too.
Good effort mate, very nice first car.
£200 for all those mods? Sounds good to me, insurance companies laughed down the phone when I enquired about mods on my first car.
