If you've got legal protection with elephant then do it through elephant.
When I had my accident, I rang up tesco insurance, explained my accident etc and they asked if I wanted to take legal action to claim for my injuries. I said yes and was contacted a couple days later by a solicitors and...
I get betweem 27 and 30mpg average in my 1.4 8v. I floor it a lot, uselessly sometimes but because I don't drive much atm I like to make the most of it, but when I take it easy I don't seem to see any reward. Don't think it helps when I'm rusing on the motorway with the revs at 4-4.5k.
Looks stunning, esp for its age! What's insurance like? I know it'll be classic car insurance lol but no seatbelts! Surely that's just asking for injury damage in the event of an accident??
That seems like way too much, ring back and get them to clarify exactly what that price was for? I was with tesco when I was 18 and was told extra £90 per mod, 3 max, non-performance, on a £2k/yr premium. Now I'm with elephant and they only asking for £65 for springs and alloys on a £500...
Would love to but too scared my car would fall apart :s It gets a ragging on the roads, but don't think it could handle the abuse of constant lapping since coming into my hands a couple years ago, plus completely standard 1.4 8v with cheapish goodyears and brakes soon on the way out doesn't make...
My dream car as a kid (not so long ago lol) was an E36 M3 Coupe in Techno Violet.
£10-14k now for a really good one so should be able to get a bargain in a few years.
Also would like an E30 and an E46 one day too for the experience, not to mention the brand spanking new one!
Thanks Brian! Will check all of that out this weekend. I've never had a leaking sunroof on my mk1 or mk2, but suppose if its a very small leak, it could have just had enough droplets. Will have a good look and let you know how I got on. Cheers
No noise, its almost like the button isn't connected to anything.
When it works, it closes smooth and quickly just like normal.
Are relay or control modules cheap and and easily changeable? Guessing it'll be where the sunroof control are?
Well this will be the 1st month I'll be applying for cashback, will have to wait and see, my Dad was pleased with their services last year that he got exact same deal as me. Will let you know how it goes tho.
My sunroof will open with ease as much as I want it to open but it wont close for ages, tried the close switch for over 20mins till it finally closed. Happens everytime I open, any idea what the problem is?
This was from the carphone warehouse, just after new year, but they always have some sort of dscount on, its just getting the right one at the right time. I haven't sent off for cashback yet, but my Dad has used e2save.co.uk which is a sister company of cpw so it does cashback thru cpw and it...
O2 12 month contract, £17.50/month (cashback), 400mins, 100txts, SE w810i (inc. 512Mb stick), free bluetooth. Could do with more texts but I just dont send random stupid texts anymore.
T-mobile have crap network, vodaphone have proved the best for me, O2 not that bad.
How can this be?? I know insurance is less for a girl but can postcodes make this much difference?? Same insurance group, same company, can anyone explain obvious differences I'm missing??
Size depends on how you want it to sound. A 10" sub is good for fast paced punchy bass to house music for example. 15" are more prefered to hip hop/RnB music because they are slower and longer bass notes (longer time wise). I've got that 12" jbl and i really love it, a good mix between the 10"...
Keep complaining about it! That's what I did with my parents with our old 21" TV. One day I come home and find my dad ready to order a 42" Plasma! My mum moaned about waste of money etc until she started living with it and she very soon thanked me for making them change lol
Do you know...
Same thing happened to me with elephant. When I added my fault claim it didn't change my quote but when I added my non-fault claim to that my quote went from £500 to £550. 10% extra for something I wasn't to blame for. Think they go by number of accidents compared to experience. Still went with...
I've got the JBL sub in your 1st post but the 12" version. I'm really pleased with it, doesn't distort when pushed to silly levels and produces good deep bass. I heard Vibes weren't that good from a Vibe owner, but that was a sub and amp in one so maybe a sub alone is better........test it and see.
I fount them useless too. Gave all my info but then wouldn't give me a quote 'cos they said it was double my best quote! Thought they were suppose to be good, I just don't bother with them now.
The 1st method mean you don't need to use RCA.
HU front speaker output > amp 1 speaker input
HU rear speaker ouput > amp 2 speaker input
or if one amp has RCA output
HU front/rear speaker output > amp 1 speaker input
amp 1 RCA output > amp 2 RCA input
So you dont need to have an HU with...
^^^ As he said.
Both of your amps have speaker level inputs tho, meaning you can connect your amp to your headunit using the speaker outputs on your HU. Use your front output to one amp and rear outputs to second amp and should work.
You may also be able to connect both amps together using...
