    Nice!

That's a good, but small point as that would be an easy upgrade. And it would murder most 1*2 cars on here.

    New to detailing

Ha, sad lad ;) The EGP I find gives great results, but I swear I end up using far too much of it, therefore looking for a spray. I guess I could get a spray bottle though . . . hadn't though about that!

    New to detailing

I personally use the following; Light marks - SRP on sfx pad (non cut, can never remember which way round it is 1-3) Swirling - Menzerna Intensive Polish on sfx pad Sometimes I use the Menzerna Final Finish, but find SRP is just the same and I have a lot of that!! Seal using EGP, wax using...

    New to detailing

It is incredible how much difference they can make. I remember doing Russ@gasperformance's car (not sure why that has tried to create a link). The reflections were astronomical, not trying to blow my own trumpet! The other thing, is that it cuts down your "I think I'll give it a quick polish"...

    New to detailing

There is a good guide in the guides section, for getting a PC frmo america. There is also a good guide to detailing that Rich had written up. Re machine polishing, easy does it is the key. The best option is to use the most non abrasive polish and pad first time round. You are very unlikely to...

    Wheel cleaner

AS above, people seem to be raving about Bilberry Wheel Cleaner at the moment. I haven't tried it myself, but Andy (clio-coby) seems to get on well with it. Once the wheels are clean, I would suggest taking them off, claying them, polishing them with Super Resin Polish (SRP) and then sealing...

    Dirty Lights? Weird Problem!

You shouldn't really wax lights should you? I was told be a fairly reliable source that the waxes would react to the light/temps . . . ? Could be wrong!

    chewing gum

Even better and exactly what I was about to write. They cans are not that expensive either, in fact, probably the same amount as a standard bottle of interior shampoo!

    chewing gum

Ice, keep it on the patch for as long as possible. It makes it quite hard and is easier to then pick off. Just treating it the same as if you get it on clothing to be honest. I know there is a substance that actually breaks it down now as well, again for cleaning clothes, but not sure I would...
