i was just wondering if any one has attempted this,
i mean some of you have the williams/megane 2.0 thing going on, but what about a 172 conversion.
im just curious, im keeping my car as it is, i was just wondering if its been done, of any one has thought about it.
Or is it too much...
my dad was down there today as his 172 (8 months old) which he got 2 weeks ago had half the lacker missing off of the spare wheel, needless to say they swapped it with the silver one they are selling !
(its nice to see they check things first) :p
still the geezer was a top bloke according to...
never used them but i have read that is why they are cheaper than most, because basically they are rubbish !
try and get some sort of compo out of them, and if u havent paid for it yet go elsewhere.
he he, thats what ive got now since it came with that size on the rear !
quite a bit cheaper even if they slightly the wrong size !
i think that 195s are cheaper as they are a more common size.
(sorry for the hijack chavy)
it mentioned kwik fit at the top, saying you get a 30% discount,
but they are at least 50% more in the 1st place, they want 100 quid a corner for a 185/55/r15 ! oh yeah it was a michelin, big wow !
that aside, it seems a good idea gotta think about it !
my dad just got a red one, but i have to say how uncomfortable the seats are, my back killed when i got out of it,
i hope they soften up a bit soon !
oh yeah i went from a fiesta 1.1 to my valver !
looking good !
i see you got the M3 mirrors for it, are they electric + heated like the 16v ones?
one think tho, the back lights arent to my taste, still its ur car and u obviously like them so fair enough.
a valver still looks wicked even today, which is why ive got one !
oh dear wtf, they are mk4 golf lights on the back
it looks w*nk,
im waiting for the post that says if they want do it let em get on with it, who are we to judge ? :devilish:
well, it stands out but for all the wrong reasons, what a waste of time effort and money !!:p
(ooh 400 posts) !
me too ive got zv1s on my valver aswell
(tread pattern looks sweet too)
never had yoko a 539s but apparently in the wet they arent that good !
i read it on here before (i dunno if its true)
i thought that was the one you were on about, i saw it too, we went to check out my old mans red 172, before he picked it up (i will post on this when ive been out in it)
and clocked the silver one with them missing, my question to my old man was, er how are they gonig to sell it with them...
thats gorgeous, well done on finding it !
have to agree with every one else stone chips are a b**ch my 16v looks like its been shot at !
id only had it a day when i went for a blast up the A127 and a breakdown truck with a lorry on it had some massive stone fly out of it and the b*stard...
Dean, if you feel its worth it and youve got the knowledge/patience go for it,
ok so it sounds like its had a bit of a hard life, but for that price its a steal, if it looks like ur goin to spend more that anticpated you could always break it (if the worst came to the worst) on the other hand...
sorry to see that hype
gotta agree with what chuckie said, "why dont they do it to your face" answer cos they are cowards who you will knock the sh*t out of !
people who do it are c*cks, had my valver done on the passenger door, managed to get most of it out but it still needs...
thats harsh dafydd, :@looked a minter i hope you get it back on the road soon mate,
oh yeah they arent the rims i saw in the photo of it, i swear it had kahns?
in the photo and definatley not super Ls still sh*t hot rallye stylee rims :D
pikeys need to be shot ! as theyre a waste of...
