Cliosport Drive 247 Card

  Corsa 1.3 CDTI

OK this is another thing that has been offered to Cliosport. This card works a bit like a credit card. You pay an initial £69.99 per annum payment and this give you the ability to pull up at any garage that displays the Drive 247 sign and fill up, hand over you card to be charged... "What the difference between that and a normal charge card" I hear you say. Well it gives you the ability to pay the bill at the end of the month with no interest acrewed, also when you need things like new tyres etc you can get a 30% discount from places like Kwikfit and other places showing the Dial Logo, so the card pays for itself with the discounts you get.

Is this something that you would like to see as members ?

“Drive 24/7” Consumer Motoring Card

We know, and research suggests, that the consumer is suffering poor service and high prices in the UK automotive market. Women in particular suffer more than men. Whilst change is underway in respect of new car sales, little constructive action is being taken to address the issue of over-charging in the SMR market – a market worth £9bn.

In the MORI survey, consumers were asked to decide if an automotive club that addressed this issue was available to them, would they be interested? Exactly 60% of the sample was interested and of those, many were willing to pay for an annual membership. This would give them the benefit of a specialist management company to negotiate the garage bills on their behalf.

It is interesting that the average consumer believed he or she was overcharged between 37% - 42%. Our experience from working alongside one of Europe’s largest fleet operators would confirm this is indeed very accurate.

The “Drive 24/7” Motoring Card will offer the following:-

“My Mechanic” service, maintenance and repair network.
Domestic new vehicle supply
Nearly new vehicle supply
Imported new vehicle supply
Vehicle Insurance
Gap Insurance
Breakdown Cover
Warranty services
HP car finance
PCP car finance
CAP car valuation service
New scooter supply
Payment protection
AutoRoute
Other membership savings

With savings on SMR alone of approximately 35%, every Clio Sport member will save the value of their subscription many times over.

This could be offered to all members families irrespective of them driving a Clio Sport or not. The individual is underwritten; therefore Clio Sport members have no liability.

it mentioned kwik fit at the top, saying you get a 30% discount,

but they are at least 50% more in the 1st place, they want 100 quid a corner for a 185/55/r15 ! oh yeah it was a michelin, big wow !

that aside, it seems a good idea gotta think about it !

I found 185 where more expensive than 195 for some reason

he he, thats what ive got now since it came with that size on the rear !

quite a bit cheaper even if they slightly the wrong size !

i think that 195s are cheaper as they are a more common size.

(sorry for the hijack chavy)

i think if we start to see this logo in places it might be worth having but ive never heard of it until now and it might turn out to be one of those gimmicks that just flops
