They look quite nice those through panel things. we used a grommet and fed a cable through. To cover fuel pump access hole just cut a bit of tin to shap and screwed down with self tappers

All our phase 1 racks are SMI iirc. But no way of knowing for sure without looking. Its written/stamped on pinion part of the rack body. The French are buggers for building cars with random parts

we ran an adjuster and cup valve. never touched it once set so binned it off. You can use the cup valve to adjust it anyway, just means doing it under the car. easy enough. But hey, its your car
