Feed to fuel pump and coil come off the same relay so it sounds like the ecu isnt dropping the earth to it. Check you have a live and earth on relay pins 86 and 85. you will have one of those missing and that will help find the fault.
im assuming you are bridging pin 30 and 87 (on relay)to...
Only way to know for sure is to take tyre temp readings. problem is with sprints being short you may not get accurate readings.
Depends on the course, somewhere like curbourgh with slow speed corners will require less than a circuit based sprint. Start off with -2.5 camber and a little toe out
The excide is better, more cranking amps and 4yr warranty. Personally I reckon your better off with an 063 with minimum 400CCA
