    Trophy Turini info please...

I have Trophy Turinis on my 182. I needed the Trophy wheels due to the lower offset and the fact i run coilovers. Standard Turinis have clearance issues. What i want to know is... What is the actual offset of the Trophy Turinis? I know they're 4x100 and 7J... buy i'm not 100% on the...

Life of a standard 182 exhaust??

They're awful mate. Mine was rotten to the core when the car was 18 months old. I've seen cars with rusting systems after a year FFS!

Correct. The removal of any restriction, be it cat or silencer boxes will decrease back pressure, resulting in a more free-flowing system. Although the loss of too much back pressure can be a bad thing, as it effects low-down torque levels, espeically in turbocharged cars IIRC.

They could do the same process to a standard system, but whether the packing in the rear boxes would take it, i'm not so sure. Plus, the Milltek is 63.5mm o.d... the standard system is considerably less.

Materials were £9, they told me. It was a full hour's work too, although by the time i had him look at the mounts and we inspected the work, it was well over an hour... and they charged me £31 + VAT.

B*stards! I've been the victim of vandalism too. It makes you wonder whether it's worth having anything nice nowadays. :( My bonnet was jumped on at the Trafford Centre.

Yep, just the centre box has been removed. Leaving the two rears, one per exit. Back pressure is important, especially in forced induction engines.
