It's for silencing, nothing more. Taking it out changes the tone/volum of the system by loads! I was surprised, considering it's only a small box, it made a huge difference!

Ditch the centre box! It's the best thing you could do to the system! :evil: I had my Milltek modified at JP Exhausts (YS's fabricator) yesterday, they replaced the boxed centre section with a straight section of 63.5mm stainless, the same o.d as the Milltek. So now it's - Manifold > Decat...

30 min job for me matey, the hardest bit is the oxy sensor. I used a new fitting kit too... you can't go wrong!
