A bit of info for people who come across this and need an alternator quick,
The 75 amp alternator from the 1.9d and dti (not dci) clio ph1, megane ph1 & kangoo is the same alternator as fitted to the cup if you have a good scrap yard near by.
Drawing air into fuel system from filter change, check all pipe connections and any bleed/drain screws that have been disturbed or better still remove them and smear a little vasoline over the fittings to guarantee an air tight seal

I made my own resonated decat the other day, it's made up of a Mazda rx8 silencer and an old decat pipe,
the rear of the cat/decat now sleeves over there centre section of the exhaust rather into it, this has increased the outlet of the cat/decat from 51mm up to 58mm removing the restriction of...
Point being the trophy isn't in the same league as a 5 turbo which isn't in the same league as the GT40, its all comparable, it's about how special they were in the first place, the trophys just weren't special enough.
probably the same reason as me, whats the point of kicking the s**t out of it with road salt if you have several other cars that you don't plan on keeping long enough to rot on you.
