Yea i think the compound is a typical track focused one, meaning they work well when warmed up a bit, coz they have some meaty trad they 'could' be good for wet lapping
That will be down to the side walls, imaging fitting 18'' wheels to a clio with very low profile tyres
Very interested to hear what you think of them. I will need a set of road tyres/wet track day tyres at some point. Was set on getting a set of PE2's. Not sure how the prices compaire in 15's.
Dan R said the RS2's were quite good for a well treaded tyre
They have a much better tread pattern...
Re: Attaching harnesses to rear Strut brace?
Probably better to gaffer tape them to the floor. Seat belt mounting points are the best if you dont have a cage
Ive always used the stylus and windows keyboard on previous devices. Tried the 'finger' keyboards on this one but didnt get on with them so im back on it now. Screen still too small on a Diamond to use fat fingers.
Id check the chare rate first, get a multi meter and measure the battery voltage while the engine at fast idle (2000rpm) and loads on (headlights, blowers etc)
Should read 13-14.5volts. If not then you have a charging problem.
Sometimes the main terminal breaks off the alternator
WM devices have always been power hungry to a certain extent.
Ive managed to get my memory useage down from 67% on idle to 54% on idle so it will use less power now
Ended up getting a Diamond, the HD was bloody hard to turn down but the way i use a phone (with oil on my hands and drop it regualrly) I thought it better to have the smaller, more 'phone like' one.
Plus the fact that it was more expensive than when i first got a quote as my banding had gone...
