My ph1 172 currently has a down on power engine and was rolling roaded at around 20-25bhp less than other standard ones tested on the same day. Its stripped to the gills and weighs in at 950-980Kgs On a 0-100mph run at the airfield recently there was nothing in it against a standard 172ff. So...

all the handbrake switch does is earth/ground the wire so i guess thats all u have to do

well, kind of. Make sure you are VERY spacific about what you want. it will be louder than stock whatever they do. Stealth is quiteter. But all non stock systems will be abit boomy at motorway cruising speeds 3,000-4,000 rpm. Just the nature of the engine im afraid

yea get the car on an axle stand first so u have some room under it, the take off the under tray and suport the engine on the jack. My jack has a rubber pad on it but you can use wood if not Are u talking about a cup or one with air con?

Some people take the bumper off and headlamp out. I haven't ever done this as it is posible but its a simple job to remove these items so could make it a little easier
