Man that was wet! How can you see in the spray behind another car? Didnt see anyone overtake you, cadwell looks like an awsome circuit, will have to make the trip one day
You will have to come along to the next one bud, good fun to watch and cost nothing to spectate. They have to memorise the test from a plan (a skill in itself) and are timed doing it. The test will look something like this... iirc the dotted lines mean it must be done in reverse
Its you...
do u still have the carbon canister in it?
I lost the face vent ducting from behind the dash in mine (doesnt weigh much tho tbh)
Biggest problem is you will eventualy put more weight in it........... Cage!
no idea mate, im in the trade so did mine for free. shouldnt be much tho. Just take the discs and bearings to a local garage and wave a tenner under a mechanic's nose.
If u were more local to me id do them for you
u wouldnt want to crash it. From the back wheels to the rear bumper the chassis has been cut away and only a very this sheet of ali is on the floor.
The roof is purely fibreglass from the top of the pillars with no steel bracing at all
I got chatting to a mate at work a while back and he told me he did autotesting and invited me to come along and have a look. Just got back from there and i loved it. Some serious skilll needed to drive like that.
I got there about 10:30 just before they were about to start and had a look...
Re: My mk1 track car blog
If its just down to loosing voltage at the coil when cranking id just run a whole new wire to it. Finding that could be tricky. Had a similar fault on mine
Got mine back on the 11th.
