My 320d has the standard dangly dick type backbox which I absolutely detest as it really ruins the look of the car. So, I have 2 options.

The EGR chucks exhaust gas through the inlet at low revs to bring the emissions down, but also clogs up with carbon etc. The cooler is only there to cool down the gas. So if you EGR, you might as well delete the cooling side of it too. Less s**t to go wrong then.
Ge the flaps whipped out. Takes about an hour and costs about £40 for the parts. i6Automotive do a kit. Being the 330d, its probably the 33mm ones you need.

You have the E91 like me don't you? Such a pain having to look for direct replacement speakers, rather than just run of the mill stuff. Mine doesnt even have an amp, just all ran off the "professional" (read as poverty) headunit. Urrgghh.

Yeah, xenons are super expensive. It's plug n play, but like £500 for a set of headlights. I can get some to "fit in", but would have to get a pair of standard headlights to play with
