Re: Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc
Thanks Chip, that was exactly the kind of response I was hoping for. Now I just need to read it a few more times, and read around it a bit too, before I actually understand.
Or maybe I'll do as Oli suggests and start saving!
Are the benefits more suited...
Re: Cub's Trackday Flamer - Cage etc
Can someone offer me a brief summary of what they do and how they improve things? I've seen the thread and it has too many posts. A simple one-liner will do, thanks.
I'm not going to dwell on your saga, plenty of others will be along to do that. Instead I'm going to offer you a length of something bendy & bright red to replace that monstrosity of a blue pipe. I'll bring it along to Llandow, or happy to mail it to your new home if you'd rather?
Maybe someone...
Tim usually mixes the meet locations up, given the area SC covers and the distance people travel, but that could still mean a regular quarterly meet in Amazingstoke.

Dear resident detailing gurus,
The rear bumper has now been sprayed and the car is back in my hands, I was just wondering if you could impart any advice on how I should maintain the freshly sprayed panel in the short-term?
Is it best to avoid using the pressure...
I insure my Trophy with Sky or Greenlight, and the 3er is insured elsewhere, both are a similar ballpark figure to what you've quoted but the BMW had 0 no claims.
There are so many factors used to determine how much you might pay, including your post code, age, driving experience, convictions, accident history, main vehicle, annual mileage, where the vehicle is kept overnight, your occupation etc. Fill in the blanks and I'm sure someone will be able to...
What's the cost? I assume it was just the insurance excess?
My screen is original (I think) and it's not in good shape. Is it wrong that I want to change it?
Ha ha, fourth in your car is a pretty different ball park to fourth in mine!
Anyway, I'm sure a driver of your calibre could negotiate the course quicker than most even if you had just fifth and second gears!
For those that are coming if you can be at the Castle in Donnington, Newbury (RG14 3AA) from 5.50am we'll aim for a 6am departure.
Please make a note of the route so you can catch up if you get left behind at a junction/traffic lights/behind slow moving vehicles etc:
From Newbury head...
