Came home lunch time today and as the weather has been awsome i thought id take the chance of fitting my new 'tw*t strip'
The instructions said that a temperature of 15deg C was needed. Almost that today, screen was well toasty as it was facing the sun...

Managed a little more this last week.
Got my 'Doris' to help me a bit.
Got her on hot air gun/tar removing duty
She done a bloody good job too!

Good reason there to have the aux pulleys changed and not just the aux belt like so many people have done. from my experiance (all makes and models) its 90% of the time a pulley failure not the belt. Seen that lower pulley fail many times on megane's etc. sometimes takes part of the sump with it...
New tyres to the rear gives more grip on the rear and therefore if ur gonna get into trouble your more likely to get understeer (less scary) than oversteer (more scary)
Prefer conti's or michilen's I know they are highly regarded on here but i just felt they were not as grippy as id like. They also wore very badly on the edges (after hard use)
My mate has them on his 182 currently and he doesn't like them either.
what side is it on?
Remove the wheel and arch liner and they are on 2 torx xcrews iirc. On the passenger side u have the accoustic valve to undo/work around and on the drivers side the carbon canister may be in your way.

This is one great project.
I would love to do a bare shell Clio build. Built two kit cars and reshelled a Ford Puma before but dont have the space/garage anymore.
Are u having fixed/non-opening windows?
