Hope everything gets sorted Andy, and that it doesn't take too long. Mine was only away for a few days but it felt like weeks. The first proper drive afterwards was right up there as one of the best, enjoy it! With all the upgrades I'm sure it'll be like a new car again!

I love phase 1s, they look so honest. I would have made it down last night but it was too cold and I was more than a little concerned I would have binned it on the way home getting overly excitable on the RS2 fun. Not a risk I was prepared to take with it all being so new (to me).

I got a roll of car carpet from wercarmats, used some cardboard to make a template of the bootspace then cut the carpet accordingly and Bob's your uncle! Just make sure you cut the carpet the right way up - I nearly did it upside down, which would have been a disaster as the bootspace isn't...

Just as it's out of sight it bends immediately to the right and a breather filter nestles behind the headlight near to the Maxogen filter. I'll post a pic tomorrow if you like?

I think Mike adapted the bonnet catch to that of a phase 1, negating the need to upgrade the engine mounts. The situation will be monitored.
