cambelt kit with pulleys and tensioners.
Aux belt and tensioners/idlers
Caps/oil seals for the back of the head (where timing tool goes in)
possibly need a crank pulley bolt too
Water pump is a matter of opinion, some people change it at the same time as its a right ball ache as a standalone job
a few years ago i was talking to a engineer for Ford and he said they start working on facelift versions before the car has even gone on sale. Headlamp and dash revisions take around three years so he said
Ive just fitted a aux belt kit to a 182 today. The owner was told bay a Renault dealer that the belt LOOKED ok and was not worth changing, even tho its in the service schedule! its not worth changing the belt on its own as the kit is a bargain. iirc it was about 44 quid.
Dont know if the cup is...
As it should be mate, I used to be a tester. When i started at a new garage one of the other lads in the workshop asked me to test his beat up old mk4 escort. I gave him the failure sheet as long as his arm and he hled out his other hand expecting the certificate.
I said ' It failed!'
He said...
Get it done a month before due, that way u have some time to sort out any potential faults.
Does my nut when people have them done 2 days before it runs out, then panic coz it fails on a few things and the garage can't fit them in again for week
Thats why i bought the denison coz i saw yours and thought, perfect!
This new version tho can access artist, album, playlist, all, etc also expandable to have bluetooth handsfree, keep oem cd changer, a/v output for video ipods. very clever unit.....
Got my Denison now, very easy install but very diffiult to read the instructions. once u figure it out (had to get my tecno savvy bro to help) it has LOADS of features and is a very clever unit. Sound quality is excelent and its a totaly hidden system with nothing on show for the skanks to have...
i just lol'ed. reading the first bit and looking at the first two pictures i was looking forward to a really clever conversion.....
I was not disapointed, easy to put back to standard come sale time?
