How easy does the hard top go on and off? And where do you store it when off?
If it improves the cabin for you when you're driving it then get it bought, who cares if everyone else thinks it's a bubble-car wannabe.
Photoshop my number plates onto pics of your 'detailed within an inch of its life' Trophy (RIP)? Yours will probably be cleaner than mine ever will...
Thanks for the offer though mate. It would be good to get together with some various models & colours and do something local-ish, I know Oli...
Hindsight is such a valuable thing Luke :dapprove:
Greenlight / Highway (LV).
I'll give the car a good clean this weekend, take some pictures as requested and send them in along with supporting evidence and will see how it progresses with them. If there are no costs involved then it's a...
Cheers Dan, that's roughly the figure I had in mind.
In general though I'm not asking how much my car is worth, I'm asking if anyone has any experience of agreeing a value with an insurance company, what the process was like, whether you managed to reach agreement, and out of interest what car...
I'll soon be renewing insurance on the the T and made some initital enquiries about agreeing a value for it should the worst happen. They've requested pictures (front, rear, left, right, interior, engine bay) and I guess they'll come up with a low figure and we'll start the negotiations from...
Not sure if that duvet cover is part of your theme or not - roof-lining?
Love it Oli, oozing quality & class, can't wait to see the finished article.
Totally know what you mean about the blue top on the Sabelt too. Great wheel but I'm desperate to change it to red... will when it's worn a...
Sorry fella but if you nailed it "to get up to speed" and then you were going faster than other vehicles on the carriageway I think you have to accept some kind of responsibility. No idea what the legal parlance is but in my opinion you should join the carriageway at the same speed as the flow...
That was three years ago - bet it doesn't look like that now! In fact it probably didn't last more than a week or two.
Looks like there was good craic to be had and a real achievement at the end of the day.
Good lad. Changed your mind about Richer Sounds then?
Now you need to watch some films with epic soundtracks and top drawer special effects - bye bye weekend ;-)
Irrespective of what happens with your own car, surely if the other person's car needs repairing then you will have to pay your £600 excess, won't you?
It's an old French heap, it's going to fade into obscurity against nearly everything else on the road, unless you're at a CS meet. The sooner you come to terms with that, the better. Ownership of this kind of car is about the driving experience not impressing other people. Drive your car, enjoy...
I've got a set of bi-wireable floorstanders which are in my loft. They're light wood-effect, pretty bassy but they are big old units too. TDL Studio 10s iirc. If you were interested I'm sure we could come to some arrangement. Completely understand if you want to go new though.
