Not much cop if you can't get under and have a gander, can understand the pickyness i'd be the same. Theres only two mounts on the exhaust, one in the middle just after the centre silencer and one at the back.
Give me a minute i'll scan the haynes manual in.
edit: They don't show them! just...
Been told about it but haven't seen it yet. Anyone know if theres a online copy somewhere?, looking youtube and nothing there yet.
They did, theres been a few 197 ones and yep that was a megane on last year. Henry did the 172/182 adverts.
Its well documented on here that leaking/shagged rear dampers make the back end get far too frisky, and knowing this you still carried on using the car (which would've been fine if you'd kept it in mind tbh).
Nothing more than operator error imo, nothing to do with the car. Not paying £90 for a...
If it makes any sense then I did mine like so:

Saves cutting or modifiying any of the original wiring so it can be returned to standard easily, now obviously not the best still using the stock door runs but as long as your not...
Sell it on, theres a lot more things different between a normal heating car and one fitted with climate control. All the looms for a start and several different components.
I've just done 300 miles to my last tank and I think thats pretty crap tbh! I find the first 1/3 of the gauge shoots down really quick then it takes ages to go through the middle.
Change both the rear and middle mount cos it'll make the world of difference. Rear is about £20 and the middle is £7.
How do they connect to the cat on the 1.6? Bolted flange or a clamp? I've forgotten.
Hows the rear mount? It'll sag if its shot as they perish over time. I've managed to get my magnex fitted and sitting properly (eventually!) so it shouldn't be too difficult to get it fitted properly with some tweaking
The engine is without a doubt probably the strongest thing in the car. The engines are pretty strong its just the things that are bolted too it tend not to be as strong lol.
Hasn't got one. Could be a shot body, they do play up so you can try removing it and cleaning it.
Did it only start doing it after you ran it down to dregs?
