Righto, need to bump this back up as the problem has returned. I refuse to believe another throttle body has died in the space of 5 weeks or so.
Anything else to check other than the above? Fault codes show nothing.
Try to not move the nut too much so you can get a rough idea of tracking back again when you screw it back on.
Blowtorch may be necessary but i'd soak it in some penerating/releasing oil first.
They were about £7 from a local factors when I changed them on the 1.6, I imagine renault want silly money for them?
The car will possibly need tracking afterwards depending how careful you are.
Its an open filter it will suck in hot air from the engine bay and slow the car down and theres nothing you can do about it. Hence why a panel filter was suggested, so that or and enclosed i/k.

Erm very slow i'd guess, seem to remember mine taking a age to hit a ton. Got to be 30-40secs i'd have thought.
What do you like better swings or roundabouts? No difference between the two, the only thing there guaranteed to do is heat soak like mad and loose you power.
