If its a water cooled turbo then theres every chance I guess. Especially if you found coolant in the turbo.

Change both the rear and middle mount cos it'll make the world of difference. Rear is about £20 and the middle is £7. How do they connect to the cat on the 1.6? Bolted flange or a clamp? I've forgotten.

Hows the rear mount? It'll sag if its shot as they perish over time. I've managed to get my magnex fitted and sitting properly (eventually!) so it shouldn't be too difficult to get it fitted properly with some tweaking

The engine is without a doubt probably the strongest thing in the car. The engines are pretty strong its just the things that are bolted too it tend not to be as strong lol.

Hasn't got one. Could be a shot body, they do play up so you can try removing it and cleaning it. Did it only start doing it after you ran it down to dregs?
