You can never really replace the sub-bass a subwoofer gives really. If your fed up with it knocking about then knock up a false floor and screw it down, mines totally solid now.
Deffo get a carbon one, the normal cup one looks really cheap next to a carbon one imo.

Theres a world of difference between a Ph1 and Ph2 172, off the top of my head:
Different Interiors
Slightly Different Suspension on the Ph2 because of 16" Wheels
More Toys on the Ph2
FBW (fly by wire) throttle on the Ph2/Cable throttle on the Ph1
Slighty shorter gear ratios on the Ph2

Don't think it'll fail on the airbag, not 100% sure but i'm sure i've read people have been fine with MOTs with the airbag light on.
I assume your going down the reset route when you've got the cash rather than paying stupid money for a new airbag comp for no reason?

Yes but people have still had them break, i'll be doing mine in the spring even though its not strictly due until november. Would've liked to have got it done sooner but the weather has put a stop to that.
Ph2->Ph3 is only a bumper change with a few other things. The newer ones with the numberplate in the bumper rather than the bootlid are different again hence Ph4 because its not the same as a Ph3 by a mile.
