I've not used the aircon on the Omega once sincd I've had it. You use it beacause you can more often than not. Not because you need to.

I like it a lot. Spec dependant (escpecially the weight saving) could be tempted.

Once you've used the CONCATENATE function, make sure you copy and 'paste special' the results as 'values'...or any subsequent copy or use will just be copying or using the formula, not the text result you're after.

It's far cheaper than a Renault one, and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Sounds nice with a cat, and better with a decat. If you can live with that go for it. Here's mine

Forced induction is for lazy people. NA engines need work but in my opinion are more rewarding.

My old man smoked like a chimney and my Omega, despite 3 Neutradol fresheners, absolutely stinks. I'm guessing the smells penetrated right into seats/headlining. What options do I have to get rid of it? Thanks Mark

That would be alright if it was wider...kinda like the one's on the Pug T16.

I drove all the way home from Heathrow tonight with my main beam on. Everyone moved over for me and I looked good too. It's the way forward.

It won't affect it that much...it really is built like a tank. You almost need both arms to push the glovebox door back up - I think it probably weighs about 5kgs...just for a glovebox door!

Needs another 850bhp to go like that one. Cone filter, decat, and take the back seats out and I'll be there I reckon.

LOL - it is definitely not rapid! Can't choose the gear at set-off, auto 'box defaults to 1st every time...2nd's good for 90mph! I reckon about 25 seconds to 100 as it's a bit of a bloater - 1624kgs :eek: Can't get used to the 'box, but loving the left-foot braking practice. Done 200 miles...

Mine has always leaked from new. Yesterday, I passed 93,000 miles in it. Don't worry about it other than for the cosmetics.

I'd say £7k for that car is a little high. There always seems to be one or two for sale that are quite a bit cheaper than that if you're prepared to accept a slightly higher mileage.

Easter (or whenever around that time someone organises something). I hope there's room for me somewhere comfy and cheap LOL
