Those pedals and mats make me want to vomit. Those and the gold highlight round the bonnet vent make it truly Max Power IMO.

No offence intended, but I think this sort of thing can make you a worse driver.
In the good old days, you bought a fast car, and you either crashed and died, or learned how to control it.
Now, you can just mash the pedal come what may.
I was running Dunlop D01Js though...the Mk1 valvers seem more prone to doing that...must be the way they're setup as they were all running normal road tyres, and still cocking it up high.
...almost.
Some went early, one got left behind, one bugged out halfway, but you get the idea...

I don't blame whoever it was that bugged out though, as this is what it was like when I followed dan and matteh in their valvers...

My windscreen now sports 3 fresh chips...
I thought the 197 was very good on track - just felt as if it lacked a bit of grunt/poke. I want to know if the improved chassis helps overcome that feeling.
