FFS mate, never goes right for you.
Scream blue-f***ing-murder at them, get your insurance company involved...then find out where the bodyshop guys live...make their cars as spectacularly mint as yours.
It's always nice to receive pics...but I'm a bit disappointed to be honest.
There are countless places to get really good shots round Brands of Clio's on three wheels (which I think always look good)...and I could only find two on the entire CD.
This is the best one of the four I got...
The correct way top neutralise understeer is remove the causes...
Too much steering input; remedy...take some lock off, then feed it back on gently so the wheels grip the surface and turn the vehicle instead of sliding across it.
Too much speed into a corner; remedy...lift off the throttle...
Could you have pressed the pedal any more?
If your fluid is screwed/boiled you get a spongy pedal - but you don't brake hard so that's not it.
If your brakes are worn, that'll stop them working properly - but you've only done 16k miles so that's not it.
If you overheat the pad/disc, you...
The cost per mile in depreciation alone for you low-mileage guys is horrendous.
The only way to minimise that is get out there and rag it every single day :D
68K for me in 2.5 years.
Do a search fella, both the above posters have got something wrong, so all you can do is just read every other discussion that's ever been had before...and there are planty to choose from.
Ultimately, what's better?
Whichever one best fits your specific requirements and comes in under your...
Nice read that, shame they don't cover the rotational percentage slip area in that article (as in braking)...as I could refer one or two members off here to it so they'd understand that ABS does not slow you quicker.
Me too, lovely sound.
Started blowing a week ago, thought Mikey big hands might have bodged the fitting, but when we got it up on the ramp, the hanger on the centre section had peeled away leaving a small hole.
I called K-tec yesterday about this.
35 mins ago, a brand new centre section...
a/s means asymetric.
What that means (I think) is that the tyre has an outside edge that always has to be on the outside of the car. So you could happily swap your wheels around left to right, front to back, whatever, end they'll always be fitted correctly. PE2's are asymetric.
The other...
Just about every picture I've seen recently of other 172's or 182's shows then wearing Turini wheels.
You'll all be after Mondial Blue resprays, Mossa cloth interiors, and be taking the fuse out of your ABS next.
Why not just admit it, you know you want to ;) , you know what I'm talking...
They'll fit fine Si, and you'll have a slightly wider footprint from the improved offset.
Pricewise...probably in the region of £60-£100 each depending on condition.
I did this and almost lost a wheel mid-session at Goodwood.
Before you fit them you MUST remove the paint from the bolt hole where the wheel bolt seats...or the same might happen to you!
kabz - I'm normally a very placid person but your incredible stupidity makes me just want to give you a big slap.
Do you like your teeth/nose/general facial structure?
Lots of us don't bother, as technically you're safer on track than you are in the morning motorway rush hour - at least on track everyone's paying attention and focussed on driving.
I enquired when I started out, and for £10,000 cover, it was £150 for the day, with a £1,500 excess. If I'd...
I'd seriously doubt that the ECU could/would adjust the load on the engine from the air-con compressor pump.
One thing I would say is give it a few hundred miles and then see. A while back when my Cup was in the hands of Mike @ Rentech for a service he reset the ECU, and it drove horribly for...
