I've had a set of these for the last 5 years and they still look and perform like they were new - highly recommended...but a little pricey. That's after they were abused for 3 years straight, every second Sunday, as I crawled through woods paintballing LOL

Took the decals off? I'd check to see if there are any other "mods" that you might want to undo. Welcome to the club :)

It's the temperature sensor. My Mate's 182 has had 4 of them replaced, all under warranty. It packs up, so the ECU think's the engine's cold, so it the overfuels to compensate. See if there are any sooty deposits around the tailpipe exits...if there are that's probably your problem.

Had mine nearly 2 1/2 years and done 60k miles - I still grin like an idiot everytime I fire it up, and peek out the window at it every night before I climb into bed :D

LMAO - another "horsepower destroys everything" thread! I had a run against a M3 Convertible (320bhp) at Goodwood...and from the top of 3rd through to hooking 5th, he pulled not a great deal on me...not as much as I'd have thought anyway. Video here... Don't forget...with all that...

Aye...but by his own admission the extra 50bhp is unusable. Sounds nice, looks like a professional set-up, but not for me. £7,600 is halfway to a season racing a Caterham Academy car (which you keep at the end of it)... ^^^ I know, I know...pointless comment LOL

Had my K-tec Stealth fitted for a week now, and I still can't stop smiling :D . I've never had anything approaching a sports/aftermarket exhaust before, so my Cup's spent most of the last week between 5-8k rpm with windows down so I can enjoy it. Can't see how I'll ever tire of it...what...

I watched Mike @ Rentech do mine a week ago - took him 30 mins max, as above ^^^ - very easy.

I had the 4k rattle for the last 40k miles, but not anymore. I went for a K-tec Stealth, which is as quiet as most things out there when you want it to be, but it still howls at high rpm under full load. Still got the 5k kick too...all in all, very happy :)

Pad works OK for me too. I can't work out why they f***ed up Brands :S - in TRD2 they had it bang on, all corners worked and the line needed was close to reality. In TRD3 though, you can take Graham Hill bend flat out, not even a throttle lift needed which is b****cks. Castle Combe is...

When a load of us went to Janspeed recently, only 1 182/Trophy recorded higher ATW figures than 3 of the 172's that were there. I think the extra 10bhp is a bit of marketing, nothing else - either the orignal 172's had nearer 180bhp, or the current 182's only have around 170bhp - why else...
