That will be because it gets the speed data from the abs system, so if one is not working properly it might be temporarily disabling the gear feature.

ABS sensor or the ring/pickup as mentioned. This is a Clio 197/200? They don't have an abs ring on the driveshaft like the 172/182, it's actually part of the wheel bearing like a magnetic ring. So it would mean a bearing change if it is that.

Theres Cancoat Evo out now which is meant to last longer and based on the previous Cancoat Pro. Not used either of the Tac or Gyeon coatings, but from what i've seen of Cancoat it looks real easy to work with.

Power wise the 1/4 and 3/8 are the same. Long reach 3/8 for me.

The non ac one is for your Cup. Non ac kit is cheaper than the AC kit, £360 ish vs £430 ish

Cost vs performance the AR1 is very good value. The AR1 come up to working grip a lot quicker than the DZ03G. The DZ03G will last better for longer stints. Won't go wrong with either tyre, but if money isn't an issue get the Dunlops.

Might make it difficult with the winged sides, but it can be done with other bucket seats no problem.

Yeah that one works out about £40 cheaper than buying everything individually.

Yeah mine are stained a bit too. They're only made of foamex, it's like compressed foam.

Not sure but definitely go with 8.8 as a minimum. A lot of other suspension components are 10.9.

Yeah 130mm M10 bolts. 10.9 grade is oem I think.

A little extra protection to stop the pulley slipping, although it never should if done properly. The pulley has a keyway already machined but no woodruff key, so you could just have a piece made but it's easy enough to fit the pulley with an integral key.
