Wouldn't even get the parts for £300 😅 Get a Megane keyed crank pulley fitted while you're there and if you're looking to keep it long term maybe a timing belt protector from APMotorsport (will need modifying to fit the lower timing cover)

How is the kill switch wired?

Sometimes the steering angle sensor, but that would normally light up straight away when you drive and not after the 10 miles or so.

ABS sensor or ABS ring usually.

A lad called DIYDaley does some good guides for cambelts on the typical Renault, Vauxhall and VAG stuff.
