Exact same for me, common problem apparently, not even sure theres a definite fix (well, not one that ALL Renault dealerships know about anyway).
Booking mine in soon...

Ask for Jonathen, he was really helpful when I ordered mine.
Im pretty certain the ECU you get from Hillpower is exactly the same as the R-Sport one.
Also, with the VAT and delivery it comes to about £240...
Well, Ive got 6,500 on the clock now and it does it much less than when it was <1,000. For me, its not enough of a problem to have to take it into Renault and be without my car for a day etc. etc.
The gearbox seems to have improved with age too...though thats probably just through...
I read recently that the governments re-assessing the differential between duty on LPG compared to petrol/diesel...with a plan to hike up the duty on LPG now that more people are using it. Something to do with the reduction in duty (compared to petrol) being disproportionate to the reduction in...
Can you not get them to accompany you to your car and walk round it before you leave it in their care...asking them to point out ALL damage that pre-exists? Then anything thats apparent when you collect it, that had not been picked up when you dropped it off must have been their fault.
Kind of...
Just remembered I heard this on the Motors TV "MaxiTest" I think it was. They also said that with the suspension changes, the rear wheels were "very keen to follow the front"...thats not very good now is it :(...what happened to the joys of lift-off oversteer...?
Havent been on the forum for a few days so was expecting the flood of 182 threads (following the Evo review)...makes for some very entertaining reading ;)
What I picked up from the article (think it was the Evo one...may have been somewhere else) was that there were probably plans originally...

53 Cup with a Cliosport sticker in the back window :D
Im not too concerned by the oil loss...a litre in 4,500 miles, while the engine is bedding in is to be expected I think.
The manual say that you should contact Renault if its consuming more than a litre every 625 miles...if it was doing that Id contact my bank manager first...itd cost a...
Three nights ago I had the EXACT same thing...I too thought WTF!!! It had always said "Oil OK" every time I started it then all of a sudden it had gone to 6 dashes and up came the SERV light.
I re-read the manual and apparently, it shows "Oil OK" so long as you have enough oil in the engine to...
Whats up with 39 in the fronts?
Close to 75% of my driving on the daily commute is at 80mph+, so Id class that as motorway driving.
I was a bit hesitant to put them up so high, but Renault say its right so who am I to argue.
Having got them set at those pressures, the car feels fine...
Cup v 172?
I wouldnt say "faster" or "better", but "focussed" or "purposeful" spring to mind.
*back on topic* Future classic? Well, Evo seem to think so but I have my doubts. Respected? Most definitely
Too early to say yet. I always check the actual figure (trip computers are s**t for accuracy) and prior to fitting it always got 31-34 mpg. Ill be filling up at the weekend so itll be interesting to see what I get (if its relevant, my normal driving is 50% motorways, 30% DCs + RAs, 20% urban).
Youre talking about the Grp N one, yeah?
Mines been in for six days, and I was hanging on to really get a feel for what its done before putting my thoughts up, but you sound like you need a gentle nudge in the right direction ;).
Knowing what the car drives like now compared to how it was...
