iirc there a mm under the normal spark plug size, think there 12mm plugs. Whichever size it is a socket for it is pretty much an airtight fit down the plug bore.
I've got the components and amp, can't fault them at all. Sounds good to me.

I'm not sure you'll have the room really, that and the inlet tract will be getting awfully long. I'd stick with what you've got really, the 1.2 engine (i've had one) makes a completely different (reletively crappy) noise to the 1.4/1.6 so I don't think you'll get it sounding like mine.

Maybe but proabably my imagination and the noise more than anything. Does seem a bit more free revving that it did with just a panel filter
Don't think you'd be able to fit one on the 1.2 as the inlet fanimold is completely different to the K4* engine.
Yeh unfortunately the mounts have broken off before I had it, ahh white will do for the time being mostly because I can't get free black ones from work lol. Can't complain for 40 notes at all.
Just got this today off Harry_manback and cracked on with fitting it this afternoon. Will have to get some vids but the noise it makes is awesome!, anywho i'll let the pics tell the story.

Just installed it this afternoon, sounds fookin ace! Nice deep bellow til about 4.5k then a vtec-esk noise all the way to the redline. Very pleased with it.
The only place I could find them new for though was a place called dp motorsport and they want £150 for it...
I've got a full apex kit (springs/dampers) on and it is rather firm to say the least. But it does look awesome and the handling is a definite improvement over standard.
Would probably go for coils next time tbh, would like the drop and handling combined with a smooth ride aswell.
If its a Mk2 172 then there isn't an ISCV afiak? The ECU just opens the throttle slighty on cold start, thats how it works with my 1.6 anyway.
And don't replacement throttle boddies have to be coded to the car?
Had mine changed under warrenty because it wouldn't cold idle, total cost was...
