Can't agree more, one of the best mods i've done. Even when there off the projector lense seems to give the car a much more aggressive look over the original halogens. And when there on say no more. :D
Nope, sprayed the originals. They look way better in silver with it all being colour coded.
So would I but waaaay too many speedbumps around here, they keep trying to rip the flaps off as it is.
Both my old 1.2 and 1.6 never used a drop, if its oily under the inlet manifold then its most probably the cam cover leaking. Quite a common thing iirc.
Probably the aux belt tensioner or idler if its whining. The bearing has probably collapsed if its getting hot, I wouldn't drive it too much if it breaks things will get a lot more expensive.
Got bored this afternoon so I thought i'd pop out and try and find me a new desktop wallpaper despite being rather dirty. Ended up with these:
^ Token xenon shot :rasp:
So what do we think? Comments welcome.
Hmm could be related as the UCH is responsible for turning them on and for the auto lights. Although i'd go with it being more local to the actual light tbh.
On the pic I posted those two holes come out in the engine bay underneath the coolant expansion tank. Although i'd still use the bonnet release grommet if you can, what size cable are you trying to get through?
Thats the bonnet release grommet on the left with the power cable going through it. Best way to get it through is to pierce the grommet then lube the cable up with fairy liquid and then apply plenty of brute force and ignorance.
Although tbh as I found out when I fitted my alarm its not that...
Getting it fitted by halfords will most likely cause more problems than it'll solve tbh. They are a bunch of monkey, you'd be much better off doing it yourself but anyway.
How are you struggling with it exactly? I'll get a pic of mine in a min.
Renault will most likely argue that its a "consumable item" and therefore not covered, despite the miliage.
Not usually unless you've been launching it at every oppertunity, mine went a 28k due to a gearbox oil seal failing and spraying oil all over it. It could just be worn but it could be...
Martin_89's thread here: http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?t=186080
That shows the 172 mount which looks different at the subframe end rather than the one you've posted. Thats the one mine came fitted with from the factory for some reason.
Mine did and iirc my 1.2 before did too.
