Think the trouble mostly stems from the dust from the clutch getting on it, good old renault design.

He says ET18/40 but I can't see how that can be as theres quite a difference from 18 to 40, they want to be ET37 for a Mk2 ideally.

Speed isn't a large requirement, just sharpish cornering. Though hanging a good roundabout at speed will do it too.

Well the 1.6 has the thickest ARB of the Mk2 range so I don't think its to do with that, it'll tripod because of the live rear axle afaik. Mine loves to do it anyway, got an apex 40mm kit on.

Well had started work at 5am that day and had just finished and after somehow managing to navigate brum it being you didn't really click. A face to the mighty name then! lol.

Ph3 dials are different to the Ph2 hence no clock. Digital temp/petrol gauges and bigger graphic screen instead of the segment one of the Ph2, hence you get a clock in those. I assumed we were talking about the Ph2?
