There'd be a button on the plastic on the side of the seat if it were fitted, which it won't be. But the manual still shows how to use it??? Don't even think it intiale with full leather has it fitted.
Well its faulty so I can't see why they wouldn't, just say it stopped working one day. If it doesn't work (which it seems not to) then they wouldn't be able to tell whether it was bust in the first place or whether its broken in use.
Got it on a few with mixed results.
Main PC:
XP3700+
1gb Ram
NForce4 SLi Chipset
Nvidia 6600GT
Works perfectly no problems whatsoever to speak of. Nvidias driver support could be better though.
Spare PC:
XP3000+
512mb Ram
Via KT800 Pro Chipset
Radeon 9600 Pro
Again nothing to really speak...
I've had them with the same braking setup as your hybrid and I can't fault them personally good improvement over stock, other people seem to have had varying results though.
Well i'd say it must be faulty then, its 100% the same adapter i've got so it must be a duff one. Return it to CAD for a replacement, they're always been spot on with me so getting another one shouldn't be a problem.
Can't see it being the HU. Unless a replacement one doesn't work as well.
Yes you can, theres only 1 torx bolt in the back of the tray and the front is on two clips. You use the same bolt for the cd changer bracket as you do for the tray.
Well as said for a start its £90 and the steering controls are shite, what button does what isn't as good as the CAD one and it only actually responds to you pressing a button half the time. I'm just glad I didn't pay £90 for mine, display function is ace though but not worth it for the...
The bracket uses the same mounting holes as the tray does 100% don't worry about that. The cd changer will have two mounting legs screwed to the side of it.
Look at the picture in this ebay listing...
You can get away with not using them on the RS iirc, but you won't do it with a normal clio. That and i'd never attempt it without compressors, just not worth the risk.
Alarm should beep if you lock it with the bonnet up, most Clios don't have an alarm fitted and don't have a bonnet sensor though as its only for the alarm. You sure you've got one fitted?
No way to make it work with the factor cd changer, you want these for stalk/display:

Nope you can get the bracket into place with the changer on it and the seat in position, its a bit fiddly but it'll go in.
Yep the bracket will fit your car fine, the only you'll need are some small nuts and bolts to bolt the changer to the bracket as it doesn't come with any.

Afaik, the standard fit changers were either a VDO Dayton one or an Alpine one. And if you've payed £170 for one from renault then you've been ripped off, they go for about £50 on the 'bay. That and I don't think the one from renault comes with a cable which is about another £60/70 from renault.
Had the autoglym one do it a few times, suffice to say it stings like buggery. And thats with wearing glasses, god knows what it'd be like without them.
Would be steering the wrong way I think as the shorter driveshaft is on the passenger side obviously. Thought car torque steering due to unequal length driveshafts? And towards the shortest one?
If i'm the wrong way round then its just torque steer.
It'll almost 100% be the wiring under the front seats for the airbags/pretensioners. Have a waggle with the connectors and see if the light goes off, if not its a cut and solder affair.
