Was browsing the net last night and saw K-Tec carbon bonnet for the 197. Just wondered what people thought of it, I quite like it and think it might go well with the black wheels. I'm thinking it might look a bit too 'Fast and the Furious' or are mods like these socially accepted these days...

My mates 07' Audi S3 squeaks and rattles quite a bit considering my 197 doesn't at all! lol

I was told today that the head unit worked fine in my brothers car and charged the ipod!? So I'm even more confused now lol! Thanks for your help mate :)

Hey guys, just fitted a Pioneer head unit in the 197 but was dissappionted to discover despite being ipod compatable it won't charge the damn thing!!! :mad: Is this due to the head unit itself, or maybe the ipod lead?? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!! :) Ste

Just lately I've seen loads of Clio Sports and Megane Sports around Cannock and the surrounding areas. All different colours too, but mainly Iceburg silver. No idea where all these cars are coming from, anyone on here cruising the streets of cannock-cester-shire???

I'm not a big fan of TT's, but however I do admit they are VERY nice cars. 1000% better than having an RX-8 imo. You would save the money you'd be spending on insurance by spending less on fuel lol. :)

It's just the generally 'feel' of them, not particularly nice to drive - those engines are a bit harsh and quite noisy (not in a nice way either). I think those doors are a bit of a gimmick too. Worst of all is the terrible fuel ecconomy like you mentioned. I wouldn't say 'don't buy one' -...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they're bad cars... Just make sure you get a GOOD go in one first, and maybe try a few other similar cars - that you like obviously! :) I work at a car sales so I get to drive pretty much everything, I was just a bit dissapointed with the RX-8 so try some...

...but these are 'cosmetic' modifications purely enhancing the look of the car - many car accessory's don't serve an actual purpose.
