Yeh but remember, just because your a mechanic doesn't mean you can fit an alarm.

^^
Thats all the connections needed. You'll probably get worried looking at it but it is very striaghtforward.
I've got all the documentation I found and used for mine somewhere i'll dig it out if you want, i'd never even thought about an alarm before I put mine in let alone installed one.
Was a learning curve but could put one in much quicker now i've done it once, wasn't anything difficult.
Would of saved me about £20 I think, so wasn't going to be paying £250. Wanted an alarm far more than a CAT1 certificate.
Wasn't anything special or difficult, just a matter of finding the wires and splicing the alarm loom onto them. Hardest part was finding the wires/connectors in the first...
Well it would have cost £250 fitted so I saved myself £190, its pretty simple in comparison to the Cliffords you can get etc. The only trouble is the more complicated they get the more they need to be pro fitted and fitted well.
Got mine from here...

I've got that Cobra one, chose that one because it works off the standard plip key as I didn't want another remote. Cost me £60 and fitted it myself, added a few extras like glass break and level reference to it because i'm a gadget...
Only in GSD2 pattern and there more expensive. Fit 195/50/15 GSD3s there cheaper and pretty much the same rolling raidus give or take 1.5%.
Oh and F1s all the way.
Had it with my old 1.2, hg was fine. Its a triat of the 1.2 engine due to the plastic rocker cover apparently. Will most probably be just condensation unless your loosing coolant.
If the dipstick hasn't got anything on it then I wouldn't worry.
Where can you get the better Denso ones from ? I've got one going down and i've going to replace the lot, would rather get the better ones rather than have to change them again 12 months down the road.
Though mind you £60 for 4 off ebay I don't care instead of £34 each from renault.
Well it is black with black wheels and as of this afternoon it is now rather low but it wasn't me. Was way to hungover to go near a car for most of sunday.
Damn, thought i'd been spotted.
Thats familar, oh wait I did swap ends after some rather "fun" fishtail action and running out of talent (not that much to run out of).
Bugger me that was close to the car coming the other way though.
Seeing as i've got a buckled wheel and i'm not confident i'm going to be able to get a replacment could someone photoshop these wheels onto my car.
Superturismo WRC
Superleggras
I'm not sure that the white won't be too constrasting on a black car, and i'm not sure how the superlegs will...
Looks good, its a nice feeling when it all comes back together. Have done a good job on it, just need to sort out the two tone thing going on now and you'll never know its had a bump.
Your from round nuneaton way aren't you brad?, i'm sure i've seen the car going round before now I think about it.
They are just very tight as they rust in as the bolt is exposed under the car. You've just got to thrash them off they'll loosen up when they get going.
But be careful as you can shear them, get some WD40 in there if its gets real tight.
Oh and don't use a torx bit, get a proper socket on it.
Yep, very few cars have bi-xenon lights afiak. I don't think the xenons would be brilliantly suited to main beam use as they don't hit full brightness instantly so would be useless for flashing etc.
Already looked, nothing in my size. Have contacted the Oz uk distributers as they say they can get replacement wheels. Just hoping they've got a super t in my size stashed somewhere or can get one offs.
Will have to change them for some team dynamic 1.2s or superleggras(sp?) if I can't find one.
