I've just changed mine for brembo max discs and mintex extreme pads, still letting them bed in so haven't given them a good hammering yet but intially they seem good. Deffo improvement over standard bite harder etc.
Probably stacking it into some railings backwards, no major damage but still got the scratches on the back bumper where I haven't got it sprayed yet and it did it in october lol. Erm don't think i've done any intentional bad mods.
Apex kit is rather bittersweet though.
Its the electric fault warning light, on a 1.2 16v could be a whole host of things tbh. Needs to be plugged in to find out what the fault it. Does it still drive ok ?
Yup, top mounts are fine as are the wheel nuts. I've refitted them several times to try and eliminate a problem. Took them out at the weekend at this knock noise appeared and there are no signs that its the damper/spring causing it although you'd assume it was. Its totally bamboozeled me.
Should they be ?
I've got a similar noise and i've already changed the balljoint which had no play in it at all. I get a squeak and a hollow knock from the drivers side only when I go over bumps. The knock sounds like something rubber being compressed and its not the strut cover and you can't...
Thats all fine and dandy unless its lowered and you can't get a trolley jack that far under the car :o. I have to jack off the sills (carefully) and use a bit of wood between the jack and the sill and I haven't managed to fold one yet.
Once you've jacked and axle standed one side I can jack off...
My old one used to be the same towards then end of when I had it, no idea what caused it but got shot before that and the 2nd gear syncro got any worse. Get better mpg out the 1.6, 40mpg all the way baby :rasp:.
There is no crossover in the standard system. The tweets are simply teed off the feed for the woofer and have a cap filter on them.
Whether it'll make any sense or not, this is how i've done mine:

Mk2 Ph1 = Rounder shape with the bug-eyed front end.
Mk2 Ph2 = Rounder shape with the pointy lights (the shape you've posted)
Mk2 Ph3 = Same as above but slightly different front bumper and interior.
Mk2 Ph4 = End of run things that renault are doing at the moment with totally different...
Its deffo been lowered without a doubt and its on 16/17s. And cheese grater grill, i'd look for a standard one. Not like theres a shortage of 1.2 16v Mk2 Ph2s.
I'd look it up for you but my PC with dialogys on has just decided to eat its hard drive. Best thing would be to look up the number of your nearest reno garage and ring them.
You'll get an up to date price then, and iirc the idler/tensioners aren't cheap.
If you do post the price up as I need...
The bumpers are the same, although if its a Ph2 172 bumper it won't be in Arctic Blue. Nearest colour I can think of is the Cup but thats Mondial Blue, not arctic. Washers will only be blanked off in any case.
Headlight interior plastics are grey on the 182 and black on the 172, and the 182 may have a cup splitter fitted. Other than that no, I assume your on about the FF.
