I've installed components in the front of mine, tweets/mids are the in the standard locations and the crossovers are on top of the glovebox inside the dash as there aren't any as standard. You won't get away with removing the dash.

It will just show alpine with that adapter, I had one of those and it was brilliant worked really well. I changed it for an alpine one so that I could have things shown on the screen and its shite, the screen works well the steering controls are w**k. I wish i'd stuck with the CAD adapter.

Yeh they take 40 seconds from you locking the car and it arming before it goes active and can be triggered. The level reference could be whats setting it off, if the LED shows an external trip then i'd say thats what it is.
Its the dCi100, they don't use the same gearbox as the rest of the range hence the reverse in the bottom right. All the others use a J series box with the same gate as your 1.2.
