    Clio 172 Cup

Oh right, if it’s just a straight swap I’ll get some bought 👌🏻

    Clio 172 Cup

Someone more knowledgeable than me might be able to jump in, but yeah around that power level I'll probably run out of fuel if they try to push it any further. I might pick up a spare set of 197's just in case, but they might not be necessary. Plus I'm not really sure if they require any special...

    Clio 172 Cup

I'm off to EFI on the 8th to get my Clio mapped, so I'm happy to share my results once it's done so you know what direction to go with yours. Mine's got 197 Cams, Phase 1 airbox with ITG filter, 182 manifold with decat, ported/polished inlets and the PMS lightweight pulleys with aircon...

    CSF25 ClioSport Festival 2025

I think the quote for my Clio at Anglesey in 2023 was around £100, but it's worth about 25p so your M4 being around £200 seems like a decent deal to me.

    CSF25 ClioSport Festival 2025

£200 seems pretty decent tbh. When my Dad tried to get track insurance for his Yaris GR at Anglesey, they wanted around £600!

Megane R26 Flywheel - SMF or DMF?

I've gone with the R26.R DMF in the end, came to £282. Compared to the TTV SMF which was £380ish, I'm happy to save the £100 over a very minor loss in performance.

Megane R26 Flywheel - SMF or DMF?

Spot on, I figured it would make more sense to keep the DMF seeing as it's mostly a road car! Thankfully I can get a LUK DMF for the R26.R off Autodoc for around £280, so I'll go ahead and buy that. 👌

Megane R26 Flywheel - SMF or DMF?

Hi folks, The clutch in my R26 has decided to s**t the bed, so I'm in need of some advice. I've already ordered a new R26.R clutch, but I'm wondering if I should buy a new R26.R DMF or upgrade to a SMF? As it stands the car is mostly a road car, but I have used it on track. I know people say...

Help needed! All 4 engine mounts wanted ASAP

I could grab you some pictures tonight if needed, don't think I've got any currently. They've probably done about 30k miles, the top engine mount has zero play. They only one I don't have is the dogbone mount, but they differ between the Ph1 and Cups anyway.

Help needed! All 4 engine mounts wanted ASAP

Are you looking for new mounts, or would you take some used ones? I've just taken all 4 off my car to replace them with solid mounts, so you're welcome to them? They were all in pretty decent condition, didn't seem to be much play in them at all.

Help needed! All 4 engine mounts wanted ASAP

It'll be that rubber mount with the two prongs that the gearbox sits on top of, on the subframe.

    Pearl Black 172 PH1

Supposedly these guys up in Scotland are now producing the RS2 intakes as they've gained the rights to it, not sure if anyone has actually managed to buy one off them however: https://www.flatoutperformance.co.uk/#&gid=1589341250&pid=9

    ***How much is it worth?***

With no MOT and no known history of the belts being done, I'd probably say that's worth maybe £2k at the most. I bought my nimbus grey 197 (non-cup) a couple of years back when the market was really inflated, for £2.5k on 99,000 miles, and was in the same state as yours with no MOT and the...

Clutch replaced but Immobiliser light solid and wont start, Help

It’s not the batteries that were the issue, it’s the key itself. See if my method works, it’s easy enough to try. Otherwise it’s off to Renault for a new key, hopefully they still make them.

Clutch replaced but Immobiliser light solid and wont start, Help

When my key was dying, I used to have issues starting the car unless I held down the button on the fob while starting the ignition. Sounds a bit wonky but it helped me start it for about 8 months until the key finally died and I had to go to Renault for a new one.

I was at Anglesey last week, no noise testing at all so I wouldn't worry.

    New, Fully Electric Renault 5

1460kg without a driver I think, if you go for the bigger battery 150hp version.
  22. chazza114

    New, Fully Electric Renault 5

0-62 in 7.9s, which is alright for a 150hp electric box. Plus this isn't the performance version, so not sure why you'd expect it to be rapid.

Sim Rigs - Let’s see yours

Continuing on with my mini-rant, what on earth do the new rally 3 & 4 cars have to do with the 'Hard Chargers' theme? Surely you'd be going for more cars that were known to be tough and could battle on, like the Octavia WRC? All seems a bit hashed together to me. Maybe they've switched focus...

Sim Rigs - Let’s see yours

I can't get my head around why they've added the '99 Focus, which was barely developed and massively overweight, when they could add the '03-04 Focus which would be much improved over the '01 Focus we have already. Plus the '03 Focus would give the Xsara a good fight in game based on the stats...

    The new tool thread

I'm really impressed with it so far tbf, jacked my Megane up with ease. Only issue was I didn't quite realise how heavy it was, it's just shy of 40kg! I looked like a right plonker heaving the box across the carpark when I picked it. I stupidly turned down the Halfords' man when he offered to...

    The new tool thread

I got a halfords voucher for christmas, so I figured I might as well upgrade my jack. I went for the 3tonne low profile as it was only an extra £15 over the 2T when I used my tradecard. Safe to say I might have overdone it slightly...

New Clio F1 owner needing general advice

Fronts are from Brembo, rear callipers are supplied by TRW. Fairly sure you can still get them new, they might even be on Autodoc for pretty cheap.

182 Titanium Yorkshire B Road Project

I did the exact same thing on the opening lap of CSF23, blew the plug clean out the head. Thankfully I hadn't ruined any of the threads, so I popped it back in and it's been solid ever since.

Sim Rigs - Let’s see yours

That's the only version of the game that's really worth playing. Has hundreds of stages, great online rallies and the most up-to-date physics the game can handle. Be warned though, I think it's over 100gb due to all the stages. It's a little bit tricky to install, but if you follow the guide...
