Did them wrong twice mate! Meant to be anthracite then silver, ended up with that!
Needed them on the car though so had to accept them, was only cheap though.
Dude!
My mate owned this car about 11ish month ago!
I got him to buy it when I saw it advertised on another forum, it was so low it used to catch on cats eyes going down the motorway! He sold it as he bought it for a sensible daily driver but it clearly wasn't!
I'll direct him this way....
Loving that!
Just been looking at the prices of them, might think about it in a years time actually when I hit 21.
As said, private plate will keep it looking timeless in my opinion.
Re: Insurance. Fookers! (young 172/182 owners look in)
What the hell, you bought the car without getting quotes?!
Modified ones are cheaper, but will still cost you around 2k i reckon.
Re: Insurance. Fookers! (young 172/182 owners look in)
Exactly, that was with a broker called Sky. They said there was no way I could have insured this car at 19, as they couldnt allow me insurance through them until I was 21!
Re: Insurance. Fookers! (young 172/182 owners look in)
My renewal will be either 1230 FC or 811 TPFT.
Wanted it for 1k FC, but gonna go with the TPFT quote anyways.
No-one could touch Flux, some even accused me of lying about having the car since I was 19!!
1235 Fully comp, 500 excess.
811 TPFT 150 excess.
Opinions?
I'm swerving towards the TPFT route because it's 400 less when I won't claim for my car anyways.
This isnt the place for it, but my post was more than justified from what replies I've read from you.
I don't hate you, just makes me laugh!
Its up for sale at the minute, but I don't want to get rid, still love the car!
I've had both H&R's and AST's with solid top mounts on my car.
The H&R's are too soft on the front and too stiff on the back in my opinion, mine were set as low as possible aswell, but set up correctly.
The AST's are amazing, nothing short of it. So much adjustability, quality is superb...
Money is no issue, I'm a CS millionaire :D
I reckon the Clio will do 3-4k miles a year now, not a lot really.
Won;t be parked in carparks etc really as the van will be the runaround, so it will purely be for fun when the weather isn't up to it for the bike.
Edit, Wallop, did look into it for...
Thing is, courtesy car doesn't even matter because of van use and and bike.
I would get legal cover but thats it, nothing else bothers me.
I'll get a few quotes for it. :)
I see your point, but will be getting a V6 in a years time now when I hit 21, so will need all of my no claims.
Clio will probably only do a few k a year now I will be having this van on the go, and as said I won't be claiming anyways, so I'm thinking I may as well save the cash.
Right, firstly, please read all of this post before commenting on how stupid it is.
Getting a van off my dad for day to day use this week hopefully, so the Clio will be used a few times a week if it is lucky. I have the R6 for sunny day fun, so the Clio will kind of take a back seat...
I try my best.
Seriously though, car looks mint.
Won't be meeting up with you in mine though, i'll have to come on the bike, you'll just put me to shame.
