Theres a place called advanced autobody in Derby mate that are very very good.
unsure on prices but their work is second to none from what I have seen.
I saw a black 172 today down the service road next to Raynesway, he was going towards Acordis.
Both thumbed up, but not sure if he was saying thanks for waiting while it was his right of way....anyone on here?!
Right, I need to remove my private plate on my clio, and I also want to retax it.
My tax runs out end of May, so can i re tax for 6 months and get a refund of a months tax from the current tax disc?
Also what forms do I need to use, I will be going into my local office to make it quicker so do...
That aimed at me?
It's not even been offered to him though, he's just financed a car that he can't insure for anywhere near a sensible amount!
Suppose being spoilt hasn't much to do with it, apart from his dad clearly got him a well paying job....if he even gets paid that amount.
Get some no claims you idiot!
For me at 19 with 2NCB I'm gonna pay £1750 fully comp, which is a reasonable amount.
Don;t be such a t**t paying so much! Spolit people suck!
Tol be honest, I though £50 was too much and was expencting to be bartered down, but I'll leave it at that price then!
Didnt rain after no, had some nice beading this morning though! Still looks gleaming clean after about 100miles too, I'm well impressed!
thing is, if £50 is cheap I'll have...
I'd be happy with £50 for purely the PC'ing and waxing. As long as the car comes ready washed etc.
Obviously I'm still a novice though so can;t charge the earth, plus it's a bti of extra cash in the back pocket for me!
You think £50 is expensive?
I am happy with the results, and it's still gleaming after about 50 miles today!!
Wolf, pm me please, I completely forgot about all that stuff!
Erm, well if the car was prewashed, clayed etc and ready to polish, for a clio sized car I'd probably want £50, for a bigger car such as yours would obviously take me a fair bit longer and use up a few more products like, so I'm not too sure.
To be honest it all depends on the next car I do so...
Haha, thats what mine was like. Havent got rid of them all but it's a damn site better!
If you wash it and clay it if you want to etc ready to be polished I can do it you for £50 if you're interested mate.
that will be going over with whatever grade/pad it needs, then a finishing polish and...
Cheers mate.
It's easy as pie seriously, just dont rush until you work out what your doing etc and you'll be fine.
It is a lot of money but can get it back fairly easy, I've got a few mates who want their cars doing at £40 a pop so thats paying for half of it already so can be seen as...
^ I've found a nice Blue one that I want!
Depends whats around at the time to be honest, if I find a good straight cup with aircon then I'll have it, if I don;t ill find a nice FF, I'll be just as happy with either!
Definately ph2 mate, I'd love a cup but would have to have aircon.
Not sure which would be better for me to be honest, love the cup blue but like the toys in a FF!
^ I'll probably try some other stuff once the Sonus is finished with, although for my first time I'm really happy with the results.
I'm hoping experience comes with time and then I can make my mind up on what works best.
I chose the sonus kit because non others were in stock at the time and...
I've toyed with the idea a few times to be honest, including some other bits like colour coding, but I'm taking the plunge and getting a 172 in July when my insurance is 'only' £1800, just purely to have a bit more fun in a car before it becomes impossible to have fun! So for now the car will...
Thanks, I'm really happy with it :)
Got a few cars to do already with it when I get a chance so should start paying for itself soon.
To be honest I quite enjoyed it as well, got a lot more confident as time passed, although I did learn a few lessons about marking better and claying better!
