    Engine failure - thoughts...

That piece you're holding is a valve seat. It's either that or the valve head that's dropped. Did you hit the limiter a few times?

Do I really need a fancy diff?

I would start at 1mm out on the front and 1mm in on the rear.

    Clio RS200 service help

Belts on my brother's old Megane 225 are still going with the current owner. Last done in 2011 😂 And that's a track car too, so no light use. Obviously it's not worth risking on your daily though.

    Seat belts with bucket seats

I use standard belts with mine and they feel safe enough, the belt still locks on the inertia wheel part of the belt. Not been tested in a crash yet though :ROFLMAO: Used Peugeot rear seatbelt buckles for the belts to clip into. All bolted down using high tensile gear.

    Lambda sensors

The cables are both the same length. The pre cat goes to where the subframe is and the post cat plugs in up where the heat shield is on the front section.

    Starter motor heat shield

Yes they should, otherwise it'll last 5 minutes. @YorkshireKyle has a few iirc.

What are your guys thoughts on wheel spacers for a road car??

Yeah. I know loads who use spacers on track without issue. Anything over 5-10mm need to be hubcentric.
  16. Mr Trailer Man

What are your guys thoughts on wheel spacers for a road car??

Spacers are completely fine on a road car when done properly with either longer bolts/studs or the bolt to hub type spacer.

I need help with rear brake disc

I'll be surprised if your rear abs sensor is intact as well, if it's been run for that long without the spacer.
  19. Mr Trailer Man

I need help with rear brake disc

Ahh right, spacers needed from George then.
  20. Mr Trailer Man

I need help with rear brake disc

Unless the old disc has that spacer stuck inside it! Have a look...

I need help with rear brake disc

    *help* snapped bolt

Oh that type of extractor... Some reason i thought it had snapped off leaving some showing and you were going to use one of those ones that bite in and grab hold of what's left.
  28. Mr Trailer Man

    *help* snapped bolt

Worse by snapping it more? You'd just have to drill it then.
  29. Mr Trailer Man

    *help* snapped bolt

All this for a PMS anti roll bar? Try a bolt extractor, failing that yeah drill it... Ballache.

    Halfords socket sets

Yeah the new 200 kit has changed a fair bit from the previous. Bigger breaker bar is one thing i've noticed.
