Did a quick calc, £10 over 120 miles @ £1.15 per litre is 62mpg. Mental.

I'd work it out properly, might even be more than the trip says! Mine hasn't budged from 28mpg, worked it out manually several times and I'm getting 33mpg average!

Big pinch of salt. As ive found with all my clios, the trip is usually off. 200 is the worst for it, under-reads by about 5mpg.

Sorry, but your flat out wrong. The golf gti is a belter of a car. The only meg that is better to drive is the r26, the golf is a better car, and a better hot hatch than all the other megs. As an overall car the golf (especially in ed30 guise) is just a better car than all the megs, fact.

There's a free gps based app for nokia n95 (and similar) that gives split accel times.

Lots of grip, but incredibly tail happy. But it's controllable and smooth. Once used to it, no other modern fwd car will give you the same feeling.

Seats are very, very comfortable. The wheel looks shite, but it's a good size! Nothing for me matches the LOOS in the 306!

No f**king way lol. The only suspension change I'd consider would be kw v3's, the cup setup isn't for me.

Re: Trophy #433 197 wheel would be decent. No smaller, but higher quality and dished so it's closer iirc. Get to keep your airbag and cruise buttons etc.
