There's no hole above the bush, it's just a recess that it sits in.
No chance it is leaking from there, probably just left over oil that's escaped from inside the bush after the clean.
Wouldn't normally have a temp sensor in the sump, not that accurate as it won't be seeing the true operating temp.
Best to have a sensor on a sandwich plate off the oil filter.
Can't help but think that all this effort to go to with this build and then they're just sticking a Celica engine in seems a bit mad to me ?
Granted not many engines will fit in a Mini, but....

Yeah the MK2 is worth the money over the MK1.

You'll need something that takes smaller pads to compliment it though, you won't get into small areas with it.
There's a Mk3 coming out early next year, so they may drop in price slightly.
The Clio Cup series will still be running in Europe i'd imagine, so there will be support for that from Renault.
Wonder what will happen to R-Sport now...
