As above. Either a rusty or loose earth strap. I had alot of clicking from down in the passenger footwell and it would struggle to start with lights flickering on the dash. It was a loose earth.

Possible front end respray? It's missing the black stickers on the front bumper. Least desirable colour. I doubt they'll get full asking price.

I'd say your battery is flat/dead.

I think you'll need to be a bit more specific. Extent of accident with some pics might help. No dash display would suggest you don't have any power whatsoever. Old battery maybe? Has it been stood for a while?

It was down to lack of lubrication. Sometimes the catch didn't hold the bonnet down properly and could potentially fly open. I first got a recall letter in 2008 if I remember correctly, which I ignored. I couldn't be bothered going to some incompetent Renault dealership and sit there for hours...

The only recall I heard about for the mk2 Clio was as you said, the bonnet catch. This is the letter I received.
