That's where the water came in when i had my 172 anyway . I sealed it and that sorted the problem . It could be anywhere really . It'll be a process of elimination finding out where your leak is .
Just got home from work now and took a couple of pics . Like i said , they're not too bright , but bright enough to give out a little bit of light . The pics are just sidelights only , not with the Xenons on .
I don't have any pics , sorry . But they are bright enough if a car is parked in front of you , you can see them shining . Granted , they'll not be a bright as cree bulbs like Dr Jekyll mentioned , but i didn't want them too bright . And for £2.49 delivered they don't cost the earth if you don't...
Is there any water in the boot , under the carpet ? It could be coming from so many different places and swishing about as you drive , not necessarily directly where the water is lodging . Try the black grommets where you open the hatch . Take them out , bob some sealant on and replace.
I've been running these for well over 12 months now , they match the Xenons perfectly . They're white , no hint of blue . Only £2.49 for 4 delivered :D

So have you been to renault today and bought a new kit ? It was nearly £30 ?
This is the kit you want . The cups that the bolts sit in from NWP are too thin and the bolts can pull through once the cups start to rust . The genuine cups are alot thicker / stronger . You should have messaged...
I use a local motor factors place that mixes their own paint . It was about 8 quid for a 400ml areosol . Spray a bit in the lid and use a c0cktail stick to touch up and stone chips . It all depends on the place / person who mixes the paint how good a match it will be . Mine was spot on .
I think you probably already know the answer . You either wait til October and take out insurance with a company that will cover your mods or you cancel your existing insurance and go elsewhere . You options are very limited to be honest . And i'd also be surprised if you got back £500 from your...
I've never had a problem with the Renault oem rear wiper blades , £6.99 delivered . Like guysy said , that doesn't look like the right one what you've ordered ...
Whatever exhaust you go for , get 2 new exhaust hangers cos the chances are the ones you have on will be shagged . It'll make it easier when you come to fit it and getting it to line up properly in the bumper ;)
£16.00 delivered is a cracking price . I thought maybe they would be cheap crappy things , but they work perfectly well :D. They are maybe slightly brighter than oem , i'm gauging that against my 8 year old Xenons that had gone slightly pink though and that would intermittently go out . And like...
If you do need new bulbs , i bought these from HIDS direct after reading good reviews about them on CS . £16.00 delivered . I went for the 5000K , slightly whiter than the standard 4300K .

I've told you what to do , from my own experience , others have done the same if you care to search . The engine management light doesn't always come on , sometime it does sometimes it doesn't . Even if it does , it doesn't affect how the car runs , you just have a light on , that's all . You...
£18.98 wasted . Like i said previously . If the engine management light comes on it makes absolutely no difference to how the car runs . Better off spending the money on an OBDII scanner or get Torque on your phone and a Bluetooth scanner interface tool , imo ;)
There's no need to tie it up , just screw the lambda sensor into your decat pipe . If the engine management light comes on it doesn't affect the cars running anyway . You can either ignore it or reset it using a cheap OBDII scanner . Mine came on after a few days of running with the decat , i...
VM's prices have crept up over the past few years , but i'm not complaining . It's always been a faultless service for me . I don't think the rise to 152mb is gonna be that noticeable tbh , but if they insist , who am i to moan lol .
Had my 182 since new , almost 8 years ago and now on 47,000 miles .
Replaced exhaust as i got a good deal on an Yozza exhaust a couple of years back . 2 new Xenon bulbs a few weeks ago , the originals had started to go pink , also bought a 2nd hand bonnet a few weeks ago to replace mine which...
According to the handbook , everytime the ignition is switched off the auto wipers are deactivated , you have to return to stalk to position A ( off position ) then back to postion B ( Auto wipers ) for it to work.
Personally , i just leave the auto wipers in the off position when i leave the...
Since nobody can be bothered to get off their arse :approve: , i've measured mine for you . The space between the 2 cut outs ( from the outside edge of each surround ) is 21.5cm . The width ( diameter) between each surround 10.5cm and the depth from inside the surround level with the botton of...
It's pretty common for 182 exhausts to blow at the olive joint on the Cat / centre section , including Yozza exhausts . If you do a search you'll find quite a bit of info on this . Some people cut off the oilve part on the Cat , weld a bit of tube on and sleeve it to the centre section . That...
Yep . No difference in 172's and 182's when it comes to parts like this .
If you were a fully paid up menber , you'd have access to the for sale section and you might actually find this part or any others you're after cheaper as there are always people breaking there 1*2's on here . So lots of...
Have a look on ebay . You'll probably have the measure the original ones so you get the right ones .
