all ours make the noise (one on 40k, on on 65k and one on 130k) all 1.2 16v engines, (the 2 lower millage ones being the newer style 2004 and on engine) and noise doesnt go away when warm on ours?!

that engine got a coil pack? common problem on the 1200 16v engines not sure about yours.

take the 2 bolts out on the caliper (well you can just take one out and loosen the other) and clean and lubricate the sliders, you might also have a sticking piston, work the piston right out and back in a couple of times

coolant and oil isnt mixing. oil seems to be coming from rocker cover gasket, not sure where coolants going, might get myself a gasket kit for it and change them all just not really got the time

mine is blowing at the flexi on the downpipe, i burst it when i blew the gearbox and snapped the gearbox mount off

its a 2002 02 Plate, just changed the plugs, oil and filter and cleaned the air filter and replaced the burst cold air feed pipe and it seems to have most of its power back, blowing exhaust not helping tho! only problem i have with it now is having to fill the oil up every month and coolant...

standard dynamiques handle well, 172/182s handle better, and modified MK2's in general handle brilliant
