take the 2 bolts out on the caliper (well you can just take one out and loosen the other) and clean and lubricate the sliders, you might also have a sticking piston, work the piston right out and back in a couple of times
coolant and oil isnt mixing. oil seems to be coming from rocker cover gasket, not sure where coolants going, might get myself a gasket kit for it and change them all just not really got the time
the more miles it has the faster it is! to be fair as long as its been serviced properly it'll be fine, even better if its had oil changes every 5-10k like a lot for sale here will have had
mine done 110k in the first 3 years and ive put 20k on it in 8 months and they 20k have been hard hard miles of constant hammering and it just takes it like a man lol

its a 2002 02 Plate, just changed the plugs, oil and filter and cleaned the air filter and replaced the burst cold air feed pipe and it seems to have most of its power back, blowing exhaust not helping tho!

that looks mint that blue one, one of the nicest here but get the wheel weights removed and get sticky ones put on the inside of the wheel.

no point selling it for a used 1.2, its got about 2 grand worth of mods on it now which im not swaping over to a new car lol
2.0 conversion ive thought about but wudnt be able to insure it for 2 years and not up for that!
fancy going for the rebuild just a LOT of money for the small gains im...
2 bolts to change it mate, very easy.
£32 or something i payed from renault for a 172 one (it fits the 1.2), i needed it because i wanted to use the uprated k-tec/Powerflex suspension bushes
