    172 to 182, worth it??

Unfair to directly compare a new car to one thats got tired dampers etc. A 172 on coilovers will be the better drive, no doubt.

    R888's 17's

Rob posted up some track tyres a couple of days ago, fair bit cheaper than r888's. Highly rated from what I've read.

    172 to 182, worth it??

I've had both. Don't do it. A coilovered 172 is a far better car. And the exhausts cheaper to replace when it falls off. And you won't get stranded by a flat tyre. And you'll get 10% more mpg out of the 172. Coilover+Remap+Seats (sell originals).

Trade in price for my 182..

I think 4k easy given the condition.

    172 and 182 cup

No screws up the brake balance. There is a way of doing it, Tom IIRC has.

Buyer pulls out, what to do

Once the cars sold, work out how much extra you had to pay on trader etc, give the rest back. Your not out of pocket, he's paid what he owes.

  11. ForceIndia

    197 ?

What happens with a flat? Mine's lower, but the 172 jack still fits?

    2009 Megane RS

I replied to you comparing them FFS, make your mind up!

    2009 Megane RS

Nonsense. Far from equal. The RS will far outsell the R26R because it's a genuine everyday car. It's easy to make a stripped out track car, the challenge is producing something that fast and keeping it everyday useable.

    172 and 182 cup

For the costs involved be far better to just get a cup.

Search for one day insurance, plenty about, but much stricter on age limits etc.

    RB R27 photos?

Never thought I'd say this, but I've really gone off RB. Loved my 182, but wouldn't ever have another RB car.

    197 f1 r27 vs standard 197

In a way I hope so. Can't think of another marque at sub 20k with the same attitude to performance cars.
