Changed pre-cat lambda and did an oil and oil filter change. Love servicing the car, feels so satisfying doing it and it's a great opportunity to have a once over of everything to make sure it's still good.

There was someone selling single genuine injectors on eBay recently at a good price, think I paid sub £35 each back in March. Also if you need them now and can't wait for postage ECP have them at a good price, they do online at least and then either ask for the online price or click and collect.

Why not make your own seat frames? I have homemade ones on mine and I have never had an issue. They are three peices of ~5mm thick steel in a square arranegement and the fourth bit is a part of the original seat runner. I have never had an issue with these on seating position being wonkey...

The inlet has two "gaskets" - a normal gasket when it meets the lower inlet and a rubber ring thing on the top, which I presume is for a breather. Didn't know that a Ph2 has a rubber ring gasket seal thing for the throttle body.

Also get new throttle body and inlet gaskets too, might as well replace them when they come off. IIRC from when I did mine the throttle body one fell to pieces and was a nightmare to get off the sealing face.

A tip for doing the work, get both front wheels of the ground, so then you are not fighting with the anti-roll bar I only say this because I spent hours trying to get the driveshaft/lower shock bolts in with just one wheel in the air. Proper senior moment and when I was told about it I felt a...

Now you say the side light bulbs you initially got are rubbish!! I have just purchased some after your initial reccomendations :persevere: I will fit them and when or if they blow I will swap for the better ones, just keep some spares in the glove box.
